Gap+ Denim Addict  

  1. Offer available to customers who purchase a pair of full price adult jeans online at www.gap.co.uk or at www.gap.eu or at Gap stores and concessions (excluding Gap Outlet stores) in the UK and Ireland only (a “Qualifying Purchase”). Customers are entitled to receive one virtual stamp in the rewards section of their Gap+ App for every Qualifying Purchase, up to a maximum of five virtual stamps per transaction.
  2. The following do not qualify as a Qualifying Purchase: jeans on sale, gift purchases (see term 3 below), jeans purchased in Gap Outlet stores, kids and baby denim products and any adult denim products which are not a pair of full price jeans.
  3. Gift receipts will not be provided for Qualifying Purchases. Should customers require a gift receipt the purchase will not be included as a Qualifying Purchase.
  4. In order to receive a virtual stamp, Gap+ customers must show their Gap+ ID when making the Qualifying Purchase.
  5. The virtual stamp will appear in the customer’s Gap+ App within 24 hours of the Qualifying Purchase.
  6. Each virtual stamp is valid for a period of one year and upon the first anniversary of a Qualifying Purchase, any virtual stamp awarded shall expire and be moved to the expired stamp section of the Gap+ App. Thirty days prior to the date on which a virtual stamp is to expire, a customer (if they have opted to receive push notifications) will receive a notification in their Gap+ App informing them that a virtual stamp is due to expire. If push notifications are not enabled within the Gap+ App, a customer will not receive any notifications that a virtual stamp is due to expire. Expired virtual stamps will not count towards one of the five virtual stamps needed in order to redeem a free pair of jeans.
  7. Customers that collect five virtual stamps in their Gap+ App within a period of one year will receive a code (“Code”) entitling them to select one free pair of full price adult jeans up to a value of £50 in the UK or €65 in Ireland as a gift (“Gift”); subject to stock availability. Customers will receive the Code in the rewards section of their Gap+ App within 48 hours of having made the fifth Qualifying Purchase.
  8. To redeem the Gift, customers must produce the Code on their mobile device at the checkout in stores in the UK and Ireland (excluding Gap Outlet stores) only (a "Participating Store"). The Code cannot be used online to redeem the Gift.
  9. Customers must redeem the Code within one year of the date of receipt of the Code.  
  10. If a Qualifying Purchase is subsequently returned or exchanged for different merchandise (i.e. merchandise that is not a pair of full price jeans) it will no longer qualify as a Qualifying Purchase and the virtual stamp will be removed in the Gap+ App.
  11. The Gift cannot be redeemed if the jeans selected exceed the £50/€65 gift threshold. Customers are not entitled to pay the difference if their chosen jeans exceed £50/€65. 
  12. If the total £50/€65 Gift value is not redeemed in a single transaction the remaining balance will be forfeited. 
  13. The Code can only be used once. Gap reserves the right not to accept the Code where it suspects fraudulent use of the Gap+ App.
  14. Not valid for cash or cash equivalent.
  15. Exchange policy as stated on reverse of receipt is not applicable on receipt of a Gift. In the event of the Gift item being faulty, please return the Gift to any Participating Store where you will be provided with a replacement of that item on production of the relevant receipt. 
  16. Cannot be used in conjunction with any Gap employee discount. 
  17. Requesting a virtual stamp is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  18. In the event that a virtual stamp doesn’t appear in a customer’s Gap+ App within 24 hours of the Qualifying Purchase, a customer can add their receipt manually to their Gap+ account within 12 months of the date of the receipt  by utilising the “Add my receipt” section of the Gap+ App. Customers must then enter: (i) the 20 digit number which can be found immediately below the barcode on the original receipt; (ii) the date and time of the purchase as specified on the original receipt; and (iii) the Gap store number where the Qualifying Purchase was made, which can be found immediately below the time of the Qualifying Purchase on the original receipt. Customers must wait 24 hours after having made the Qualifying Purchase before adding their receipt to their Gap+ account. It can take up to one (1) week for a virtual stamp to appear in the Gap+ App if the virtual stamp is added manually.

19.  In the event of any error with the “Add my receipt” functionality in the Gap+ App, customers should email custserv@gap.eu with the information specified in paragraph 18 above.

20. These terms and conditions are valid until 30 June 2020 and may be updated by Gap at any time.

Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Membership

Any customer who spends or has spent £250/€325 or more (“Qualifying Amount”) on Gap purchases as captured at the till (by showing the customer’s Gap+ ID in a Participating Store) or at the online checkout (by entering the customer’s “Everyday 5%” discount code) (“Qualifying Purchases”) within any 12 month period from and including 19 November 2017 will be recognised as a “Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member”.

  1. Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members will have access to a section in the Gap+ App which will be limited to Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members only and contain exclusive content

  1. In order to remain a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member, a customer must spend on Qualifying Purchases not less than the Qualifying Amount in any rolling 12 month period whilst such customer has Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member status. In the event a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member does not spend the same or more than the Qualifying Amount on Qualifying Purchases during such period, their Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member status shall end.

  1. If a customer’s Gap+ EXCLUSIVE membership ends, a customer will become a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member again if the aggregate of its Qualifying Purchases equal or exceed the Qualifying Amount within the period of 12 months immediately preceding the date of the customer’s last Qualifying Purchase.

  1. If a Qualifying Purchase is subsequently returned and/or refunded at either a Participating Store or online, it will no longer constitute a Qualifying Purchase or count towards a Qualifying Amount.

  1. If a customer makes a purchase in a Participating Store but does not show their Gap+ App ID at the checkout, a customer can add their receipt to their Gap+ App account within 12 months of the date of the receipt by utilising the “Add a receipt” section of the Gap+ App. Customers must then enter: (i) the 20 digit number which can be found immediately below the barcode on the original receipt;  (ii) the date and time of the purchase as specified on the original receipt; and (iii) the Gap store number where the relevant purchase was made, which can be found immediately below the time of the relevant purchase on the original receipt.  Customers must wait 24 hours after having made a purchase before adding their receipt to their Gap+ App account. Online purchases cannot be added to a customer’s Gap+ account on a subsequent date via the Gap+ App.

Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Cards

  1. Offer available at all Gap stores and concessions in the UK and Ireland only with the exception of Gap outlet stores (“Participating Stores”) and online at www.gap.co.uk or at www.gap.eu.

  1. Subject to paragraph 7 of these Terms and Conditions, from and including 19 November 2018 (“Gift Card Launch Date”) and only for such time period whilst a customer is a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member (see Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Membership Terms and Conditions for details), for each increment of £250/€325 (“Increment”) spent on Gap purchases as captured at the till (by showing the customer’s Gap+ ID in a Participating Store) or at the online checkout (by entering the customer’s “Everyday 5%” discount code) in any twelve month period (“Gift Card  Qualifying Purchases”), Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members will receive a £15/€20 Gap+ EXCLUSIVE gift card (“Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card”) by post as a gift.

  1. From and including the Gift Card Launch Date, any Gap purchases as captured at the till (by showing the customer’s Gap+ ID in a Participating Store) or at the online checkout (by entering the customer’s “Everyday 5%” discount code) made in the twelve month period from and including the date of the first Gap purchase made after the Gift Card Launch Date by customers who are not Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members as at the Gift Card Launch Date will count towards both (i) the Qualifying Amount for the purpose of achieving Gap+ EXCLUSIVE membership (see Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Membership Terms and Conditions for details); and (ii) the Increment for the purpose of obtaining a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card.

  1. If a customer’s Gap+ EXCLUSIVE membership ends at any time (see Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Membership Terms and Conditions for details), any portion of any Increment accrued towards a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card up to the date on which the customer’s Gap+ EXCLUSIVE status ended shall be forfeited and if a customer becomes a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member again, a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member shall be required to make Gift Card Qualifying Purchases equaling or exceeding a whole Increment again in order to earn a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card. 

  1. In order to receive a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card, Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members will be prompted in the Gap+ App to provide their postal address in order to have a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card posted to them. Gap+ EXCLUSIVE members will also receive a push notification in their Gap+ App asking them to provide their postal address. Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members will have 90 days from the date of receipt of the push notification in which to provide their postal address, after which Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members will no longer be able to claim the Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card in relation to the relevant Increment. If push notifications are not enabled within the Gap+ App  (push notifications can be enabled/disabled through the customer’s device settings), Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members will not receive any notifications that they need to provide their postal address in order to receive a  Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card, however this information will be visible in the Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members’ section of the Gap+ App for 90 days from the date the push notification is sent and this information will be visible within the Messages section of the Gap+ App for 30 days from the date that Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Member became eligible to receive a GAP+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card.

  1. Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members will receive a Gift Card within one month of having provided their postal address. In the event a customer has not received a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card within this time period, customers should contact us at the contact details specified in paragraph 17 below.

  1. Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members are entitled to receive a maximum of one Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card per transaction and a maximum of two Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Cards in any 30 day period.

  1. The Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card may only be redeemed once, at either a Participating Store or Online. If the Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card is redeemed at a Participating Store, Gap will retain the Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card once the discount has been applied.

  1. To redeem a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card, customers must either show the store Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card and their Gap+ ID at the checkout of a Participating Store or enter their Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card online discount code at the checkout online. A customer’s “Everyday 5%” Gap+ discount code is combinable with a Gap+ Exclusive Gift Card.

  1. Customers must redeem a Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card by the expiry date on the face of the relevant Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card, after which such Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card will no longer be redeemable. Customers which are no longer Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Members may still redeem Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Cards provided such Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Cards have not expired and otherwise remain valid.

  1. A Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card must be redeemed in a single transaction and any unused value will be forfeited. 

  1. If a Gift Card Qualifying Purchase is subsequently refunded, it will no longer count towards an Increment.

  1. Gap reserves the right not to accept the Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card where it suspects fraudulent use. Not valid for cash or cash equivalent. No adjustments on previous purchases. Cannot be used in conjunction with any Gap employee discount. Gap is not responsible for any lost or stolen Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Cards. The Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card value is forfeited if the original purchase(s) is/are returned for a refund.

  1. A Gap+ EXCLUSIVE Gift Card cannot be used to purchase any other Gap gift card in store or online, or to pay for online delivery charges. Exchanges for different merchandise permitted.
