On 14th March 2022, Gap returned to the British high street, opening its first shop-in-shop, as a concession in Next’s flagship store on Oxford Street, London.
The 4,400 square foot retail space, stocking Gap’s womenswear, menswear, kidswear and baby clothing, was promoted pre-launch with posters around the capital, in addition to email and social communications to customers, press coverage, and large scale projections of our iconic Gap hoodie across London landmarks the evening before the store opening.
A launch event followed on the opening weekend, offering customers free customisation, goody bags and a collectible Gap book.

More modern, refreshed Gap shop-in-shop stores are planned to open in other locations across the UK, later this year.
