Returns Policy

On Thursday 21st July, Next will become the host of a new total platform website, still located at gap.co.uk. Please see below for what this means for if you need to make a return.

For orders made before 21st July 2022:

Returns in respect of orders placed on gap.co.uk or gap.eu prior to 21st July 2022, must be made within 14 days from receipt of the items, in line with our current Returns Policy. Items must be unworn and unwashed.

As Gap’s UK Distribution Centre will soon be closing, Gap is unable to process returns for any items posted to Gap after 9th August 2022. Please retain proof of postage. This does not affect your statutory rights.

After 9th August 2022, if you have any queries surrounding an order placed on gap.co.uk or gap.eu prior to 21st July 2022, including any queries in respect of faulty products, please contact the Customer Service team on custserv@gap.eu.

Except if exercising your statutory right to cancel, shipping and handling charges paid on your original shipment are not refundable when you use our easy returns by mail.

All swimwear and jewellery must have any hygiene seals intact to be eligible for return. This does not affect your statutory rights.

For orders made on, or after, 21st July 2022:
From 21st July, Next will be the host of Gap’s website and orders made from this date will be subject to Next’s Return Policy. Find out more, by clicking here.

 

Returns by Mail

Returns are free for UK customers and must be posted back no later than 9th August 2022.

Just use the pre-paid Royal Mail or Collect + shipping label included in your package. If using another shipping method at your own expense, please be sure to send to the following address:

Follow the below instructions to package your return and mail it back to us:

  1. Detach the top customer portion of the invoice for your records.
  2. Circle the item(s) that you are returning and note the quantity and return reason(s) for each item on your invoice.
  3. Pack and seal your return securely, in the original packaging, and include the completed invoice.
  4. Affix your return shipping label to the packaging. Make sure no other tracking labels are shown.
  5. If using one of the prepaid shipping labels provided, take the package to either your nearest Royal Mail or Collect + drop off location. (You can find your nearest Collect+ store by texting COLLECT and your postcode (e.g. COLLECT NG23 5HD) to 84555 or at www.collectplus.yodel.co.uk).
